We are currently seeking goal-oriented Line Mechanics who are team players responsible for maintaining all functions of high-speed production lines. Current openings on 2nd (2:30PM – 10:30PM) and 3rd shifts (10:30PM – 6:30AM) Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $28.47/hour and $28.57/hour for 2nd and 3rd shift respectively. Responsibilities

  • Perform all necessary pre-production safety checks.
  • Operate, set-up, adjust, repair and overhaul all assembly line equipment and related equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity of production.
  • Safety is a top priority. Must follow all plant safety rules, SOP’s, LOTO, and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain compliance with all OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Perform all necessary quality checks to ensure the product meets documented quality requirements.
  • Accept primary responsibility for the performance of assigned equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required.
  • Perform and document completed daily housekeeping; Keep work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards at all times.
  • May develop, fix, or fabricate solutions and work within shop and production departments.
  • Take direction well in addition to being focused and flexible enough to move from task to task.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts with evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Mechanical background and/or experience. All candidates will be tested for mechanical aptitude.
  • Tools are required. The Company will furnish a basic tool list that is the minimum requirement for the position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality.
  • Familiarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to fifty (50) pounds and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
  • This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
