Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will direct all functions of the maintenance team for the assigned shift. This includes ensuring efficient manufacturing process capabilities, adherence to safety and quality standards, PM compliance, and effective teambuilding and team leadership. Current openings are for 2^nd shift (2PM-11PM) and 3^rd shift (11PM-8AM). Schedule is Monday-Friday with weekends as needed based on business needs. Primary Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to hourly multi-craft maintenance technicians and oversee any onsite maintenance contractor coordination.
• Provide individual team member job assignments and track the progress to completion.
• Provides supervisory assistance to the maintenance team in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Provide input into the development of preventative/predictive maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment.
• Assist with developing maintenance department employee relations by continued communication of all information affecting them and through the conduct of regular shift team meetings.
• Enforce safety policies by conducting inspections, hazard assessments, and ensuring OSHA and company compliance.
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS (MVP1), maintaining records of repairs, parts usage, and inspections.
• Analyze downtime trends and track maintenance metrics to drive continuous improvement in plant performance.
• Assist with development of and leading the implementation of reliability process improvement through TPM, Lean, Autonomous Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, and other reliability tools, including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a plant or manufacturing industry. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Industry background in Food & Beverage or CPG preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma, TPM, and 5-S preferred.
• Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Problem-Solving methods (DMAIC, 5-Why, A3) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Must be flexible with regards to shift start and end times. Must also be able to work off-shifts and weekends as needed as well as attend meetings during off-shift hours as necessary to support the plant and manage the maintenance function.

• Thorough knowledge of maintenance best practices, GMP, OSHA, and quality control procedures.
